Greetings. My name is themblan, and I am a boy-gamer.
Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina came out recently, and I know that there are disappointed people out there in the world. They won't say much, because the fans out there are loving it, but I know there are people suffering out there.
Even though I did a video hyping Astral Chain, I didn't buy it because I knew I wouldn't like playing the game. I knew this when I saw Nintendo Treehouse playing the game and it wasn't a pure action-game like Bayonetta, which is what I wanted. I knew from experience -- from playing Nier Automata, that Astral Chain would be more like it, and so I forwent the purchase of Astral Chain.
Today, I want to impart my wisdom of how to avoid disappointment as much as possible when purchasing videogames, because videogames are expensive. Plus, even if you can't sell your game because it's digital or you're against reselling, I suggest to you how you can force yourself to play a game you don't like, to feel better and not regret your purchase.
